Recombinant DNMT3A is the principal de novo DNA methyltransferase used to investigate epigenetic regulation, DNA methylation establishment, enzyme activity, and inhibitor discovery. Commercially available as full-length protein or as individual functional domains, recombinant DNMT3A supports biochemical, structural, and chromatin interaction studies while providing a reliable platform for understanding methylation-dependent gene regulation.

Expression Systems & Quality

Full-length proteins are commonly expressed in insect or mammalian cells to preserve native folding and post-translational modifications, whereas isolated domains are frequently produced in E. coli. Product quality should be verified by purity, sequence confirmation, enzymatic activity, oligomeric state, endotoxin level, and recommended storage conditions.
