Why do you need stabilisation solutions?

Stabilisers for immunoassays are necessary to preserve the native conformation of proteins and to protect them from loss of functionality. They are commonly used in the production of commercial ELISA kits with a shelf life of 2 years or more.

We offer stabilisation solutions for antibodies and proteins for long-term storage at 2–8°C. These buffers are based on either TRIS or PBS, depending on their end use, and prevent freeze-thaw cycles that could damage antibodies and proteins.
