Ovine CD31 is predominantly expressed by peripheral blood platelets and a small percentage of lymphocytes. CD31 is also highly expressed by ovine endothelial cells.
Reported to inhibit homotypic leucocyte aggregation induced by anti CD43 antibodies (2). Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in fuctional assays.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the SP2-0/Ag14 mouse myeloma cell line.

Recommended Secondary Reagent for Flow Cytometry:
I1904-66A: IgG, F(ab’)2 (FITC) Pab Rb xMo

Recommended Negative Control:
I1904-83P1: IgG2a Murine Negative Control

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
