Prostate Tissue Serum Free Media (BRFF™ HPC1)

BRFF-HPC1™ is a complete serum-free medium designed for establishing new cell lines from human prostate tissue.3 Epithelial cell lines, from both benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatic carcinoma have been established and maintained in this medium. This medium contains dihydrotestosterone. For optimum cell attachment, use FNC Coating Mix®.

7.2-7.5 (5% CO2 atmosphere is recommended for culture.)

Sterility Test:
Specification: Detection of microbial growth.
Test Sample: 0.1ml into each media (in triplicate):
Incubation Conditions: 37°C for 3-5 days

Storage and Stability:
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt.
