Room-temperature kit for fast, mess-free stool collection and DNA stabilization—ideal for gut-microbiome profiling and pathogen detection.
Stool DNA Collection & Stabilization Kit is an all-in-one solution for hassle-free stool sampling in microbiome, metagenomics and infectious-disease projects. Each screw-cap tube is pre-filled with 8 mL of proprietary DNA stabilization buffer that immediately inactivates nucleases and halts microbial growth, preserving native community structure. It maintains DNA integrity for 2 months at 15-25 °C and indefinitely at −20 °C or −80 °C. This product allows safe, odor-free transport by regular mail—no dry ice required—cutting shipping costs up to 70 %.
The ergonomic sampling spoon built into the cap enables self-collection in few seconds, while the wide-mouth design prevents spills. Tubes are 100 % compatible with Canvax HigherPurity™ Stool DNA Isolation Kit and with common column- and/or magnetic-bead workflows. Variant SC0016 bundles the disposable Stool Catcher sheets to simplify at-home sampling.
