CD335 is a type I transmembrane protein, with two extracellular C2-type immunoglobulin-like domains, which functions as an activating receptor. CD335 is primarily expressed by a subset natural killer (NK) cells. No expression of CD335 has been detected on B cells, T cells, monocytes or granulocytes.
