Purity/Purification
>98% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized protein should be stored at -20 degree C for 1 year. Upon reconstitution, store at 2 degree C to 8 degree C for up to 1 week. Further dilute in a buffer containing a carrier protein or stabilizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 10%FBS, 5%HSA or 5% trehalose solution), protein aliquots should be stored at -20 degree C or -80 degree C for 3-6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Molecular Weight
18,540 Da
Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Endotoxin
<0.1 EU per 1 ug of the protein by the LAL method.
Activity
Measured by its ability to induce NFS-60 cells proliferation. The ED?? for this effect is <85 pg/mL. The specific activity of recombinant mouse IL-3 is approximately >1x 10? IU/mg.
Usage Notes
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Mouse IL-3 Protein, His tag (Animal-Free) using the buffer we provided not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Product Categories/Family for IL-3 active protein
Cytokines and proteins; Cytology; Cell Research Tools; Cell Culture
Other Notes
Small volumes of IL-3 active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
