Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a major structural component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria and serves as a prototypical endotoxin. This product is purified from Escherichia coli O113 by ultracentrifugation, a method that effectively removes contaminating proteins, nucleic acids, and other cellular components, yielding highly purified LPS suitable for cell biology and immunology research.
