< 1 EU per ug of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Protein Construction
Amino acid sequence derived from human IL3 protein (NP_000579.2, Met1-Phe152) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Protein Length
The recombinant human IL-3 protein consists of 140 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 16 kD.The apparent molecular mass of the human IL-3 is approximately 17-35kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Usage Notes
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized human IL-3 protein in the buffer which we provide not less than 100ug/mL, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Product Categories/Family for IL-3 recombinant protein
Cell Culture; Cytokines (Animal-Free)
Other Notes
Small volumes of IL-3 recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for IL-3
The protein encoded by this gene is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It is involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
