This kit employs an enzymatic method to lyse cells and utilizes a silica membrane spin column to specifically bind to DNA. It is suitable for efficiently extracting genomic DNA from various materials (animal cells, animal tissues, mouse tails, E. coli, yeast). The extracted DNA is applicable for experiments such as enzymatic digestion, PCR, and Southern Blot.
