Quimigen is pleased to announce its support for the LMB‑IP PhD Symposium 2025, an international life science symposium organized by students, for students. Taking place from 10–11 July 2025 at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge, this event brings together PhD students from the MRC LMB and the Institut Pasteur to foster scientific exchange and collaborative spirit.
This unique two-day symposium will highlight cutting-edge research and groundbreaking discoveries across a wide spectrum of disciplines, including:
-
Molecular and structural biology
-
Cellular biology
-
Neurobiology
-
And other emerging fields in the life sciences
The program will feature student talks, poster sessions, and a 3-Minute Thesis competition, creating an engaging platform for early-career scientists to connect with established researchers and share their work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In addition to the scientific sessions, the event will host two thought-provoking workshops:
-
Spinning out Scientific Research
-
From margins to centre: the role of diversity in science and beyond
Attendees will also enjoy valuable networking opportunities through a formal dinner at Homerton College and a social pub trip to close the event.
For those unable to attend in person, all talks and panel discussions will be streamed online, making the symposium accessible to a wider scientific audience.
Registration is open until 4th July 2025.
