-20°CIL6R is a transmembrane protein that associates with the signal-transducing subunit gp130 to form a high-affinity receptor complex for IL-6. It is expressed on T cells, activated B cells, and peripheral monocytes. A soluble form of IL6R can be released by proteolytic cleavage.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
