Description

NDSB-195 is protein stabilizer that enhances the dynamics of the β4-α2 loop of ubiquitin. NDSB-195 stabilizes Saccharomyces cerevisiae ubiquitin against guanidium chloride denaturation, increasing the onset temperature of heat denaturation in the presence of the denaturant[1].

In Vitro

NDSB-195 (0.5-1.0 M) stabilizes S. cerevisiae ubiquitin against guanidium chloride-induced denaturation, as shown by preserved secondary structure and an increased heat denaturation onset temperature of 70°C with 0.5 M NDSB-195[1].
NDSB-195 (0-500 mM) selectively reduces the amide proton NMR line width of Gly53 in yeast ubiquitin in a concentration-dependent manner[1].
