Successful use in ELISA was reported by some researchers. As this detection method has not been verified by Acris Antibodies, the application was deleted from the database. This does not necessarily exclude the use in such procedure.

Immunogen	Recombinant nucleocapsid protein of Hantaan 76-118 strain.
Specificity	B5D9 reacts with an epitope present on the N-terminus of the nucleocapsid protein (S segment) of Hantaan 76-118 strain.  The antibody is directed against the Hantaan serotype nucleocapsid protein which has been shown to be the major immunogen in Hantaan Virus caused Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS). No coss-reaction with the Puumala serotype and no cross-reaction with Sin Nombre Virus (SNV).
