| Detection Principle | β-galactosidase can catalyze the substrate nitrophenylgalactoside pyranopyranoside to produce nitrophenol, which has a maximum absorption peak at 400 nm. The activity of β-GAL can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 400 nm. |
