Cell and tissue culture flasks are designed for reliable long-term and large-scale cell culture while minimizing contamination risks. Untreated surfaces are suitable for suspension cells, while TC-treated surfaces provide enhanced hydrophilicity for optimal adhesion and growth of adherent cells. The advanced NeoAdhere superhydrophilic surface further promotes the attachment and growth of demanding cells, including primary and transfected cells, particularly under low-serum or serum-free conditions. Various treated surfaces are suitable for different culture needs. The flask body is made of polystyrene (PS), the bottle cap of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and the filter membrane of polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), conforming to USP Class VI standards.
Design and Specifications
Flasks are available in specifications T12.5, T25, T75, T150, T175, T182, T182 (Extra Height), T225, and T300, with cap types including Plug Seal and Vent. The hydrophobic vent cap ensures continuous ventilation, while the plug seal cap enables air circulation by rotating 1/4 of its full range. The tilted bottleneck facilitates easy access of pipets and cell scrapers. The low-profile design supports effective use of the internal space of the incubator when stacked. A frosted area near the bottleneck can be written on, and volume graduations are molded on both sides.
Quality Control and Sterility
Each flask is 100% tested for production line leakage. Lot numbers appear on the bottom of each flask and package bag for quality traceability. Flasks are sterilized by irradiation with a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10−6. They are DNase/RNase-free, non-pyrogenic, and non-cytotoxic.
