Preparation: Infected cells are extracted by detergent treatment and the glycoproteins are isolated by Lectin affinity chromatography. The resulting antigen is presented in glycine buffer (pH 9.5). Residual amounts of detergent may be present.

Inactivation: This product has been treated with detergent. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
