Complex of N-terminal GST tagged recombinant full-length human p110d (GenBank Accession No. NM_005026), and recombinant full length, human p85a (GenBank Accession No. XM_043865). Coexpressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system.

Specific Activity:
3nmol/mg/min using phosphatidylinositol as the substrate. p110d/p85a activity was determined using PIP2 and ATP as substrates.

Assay Conditions:
Enzyme reaction was carried out for 15 minutes at 30ºC using 5-200ng of P4073-30B1 in a buffer containing
40mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 20mM magnesium chloride, 100um ATP, 200uM L-alpha-phosphatidylinositol/L-alpha-phosphatidylserine (PI/PS) substrate.

Applications:
Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
