A trisaccharide resulting from the digestion of Amalose by α-Amalase. Maltotriose is a matrose regulon inducer in Escherichia coli. Maltotriose has been used in a study to investigate the influence of fourth generation poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers on blood cells.
