Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody is supplied in high phosphate PBS, 100 mm phosphate, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.6.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationHRP: Horseradish Peroxidase
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
PurificationAffinity Purified

Gene SymbolEEF1D
Gene Full NameEukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 delta (guanine nucleotide exchange protein)
Alias SymbolsEF1D, EF-1D, FP1047
NCBI Gene Id1936
Protein NameElongation factor 1-delta
Description of TargetThis gene encodes a subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This subunit, delta, functions as guanine nucleotide exchange factor. It is reported that following HIV-1 infection, this subunit interacts with HIV-1 Tat. This interaction results in repression of translation of host cell proteins and enhanced translation of viral proteins. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been found for this gene. Related pseudogenes have been defined on chromosomes 1, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 17, 19.
